The Smith is the heavy one. Charcoal, and a grit that means it: rice powder, oat kernel meal and a little silica, for hands that have been holding something all day and shoulders that have been under a bar. This is the shower after the second session.

The recovery argument. You don’t train through an injury, and you don’t skip sleep and expect to grow. Then you wash twice a day with a bar at pH 9–10 and put the largest organ you own straight back into deficit. The Smith cleans at 4.5–5.5. Same discipline, none of the undoing.
