Every bar soap made the traditional way comes out alkaline, around pH 9–10. Skin sits at 4.5–5.5, which is why an ordinary bar leaves it feeling tight. The Brick is formulated inside your skin’s own range, so it cleans and takes nothing it shouldn’t.
